The objective of the European Centre For Financial Law is to promote synergies between academia and the business sector
For this purpose, the quarterly Centre Conferences bring together eminent guests from the worlds of finance and law to discuss a theme related to the latest economic and political developments
The aim of these discussions is
- to enable university researchers to better understand the issues and environment faced by professionals, in order to facilitate the completion of research work more closely suited to the demands of the market
- to better inform public and private decision makers about research activities in financial law
- to contribute to the public debate around topical financial issues

The European Centre for Financial Law organised a breakfast conference on 29 January 2020 on the issue of market abuse regulation.
We had the honour of receiving Maxime Galland, Director of the Legal and International Expertise Division of the AMF; Dominique Bompoint, Avocat à la Cour, and Lé Quang Tran Van, Director of Financial Affairs of the AFEP and member of European Issuers.
The discussions were moderated by Alain Pietrancosta, Professor of Law, member of LabEx ReFi and Scientific Director of the Centre.
